Football Recap: Mazama Vikings vs. Marshfield Pirates

Mazama had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it six. They took a blow against the Marshfield Pirates, falling 49-6. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kellen Lee threw for 135 yards on 12 of 22 attempts. Rison McDonald was his top target, picking up 98 receiving yards. On the ground, Brody Mahon rushed for 67 yards.
