Baseball Recap: Crawford Takes a Loss

Crawford and High Tech CV squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Crawford had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bruins, falling 11-3. The Colts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 9-6.

Hector Fuentes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. He has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last five times he's played.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for High Tech CV, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crawford beat High Tech CV by a score of 14-4 on Wednesday.
