Volleyball Recap: Taunton Wins Going Away Against Collegiate Charter School of Lowell

The Taunton Tigers made easy work of the Collegiate Charter School of Lowell Wolves on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-19.

Travis Johnson paced Taunton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Johnson got some help from Daniel Freitas and his 31 assists. Johnson also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Stherry Simon, racking up two apiece.

Taunton's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Collegiate Charter School of Lowell, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Taunton will challenge Durfee at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Collegiate Charter School of Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
