Basketball Game Preview: Cody Broncs vs. Lander Valley Tigers

The Cody Broncs will face off against the Lander Valley Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cody knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lander Valley likes a good challenge.

Cody is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Powell, who was ranked fourth at the time (Cody was ranked tenth). Cody strolled past Powell with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 69-55.

Meanwhile, Lander Valley didn't have too much trouble with Lyman on Thursday as they won 48-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Cody's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-4. As for Lander Valley, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Cody beat Lander Valley 69-56 when the teams last played on January 7th. Will Cody repeat their success, or does Lander Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
