Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northridge Jaguars, falling 19-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-7 on Tuesday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Northridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-16.

Looking ahead, Central will host Tuscaloosa Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northridge, they will face off against Paul W. Bryant at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Stampede have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
