Glenwood is a perfect 10-0 against Lanphier since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Titans will venture away from home to take on the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Glenwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Glenwood's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over MacArthur. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Andrew Wahlbrink looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Andrew Schwartz was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Henry Rose, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, Lanphier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Lincoln, falling 15-0.

Lanphier's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Glenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Lanphier's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Glenwood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. It's a different story for Lanphier, though, as they've only averaged .211. Will they be able to contain Glenwood's hitters?

Glenwood took their win against Lanphier when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
