Basketball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fairview last Wednesday, Dawson-Bryant came back down to earth. The Dawson-Bryant Hornets took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chesapeake Panthers on Thursday. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 45-36.

Dawson-Bryant has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Chesapeake, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Dawson-Bryant will face off against Tolsia at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chesapeake, they will welcome Ironton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
