Stafford and East Granby are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will challenge the Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Stafford nor East Granby posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Stafford fell just short of Bolton by a score of 3-2.

Stafford saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Gudeman, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, East Granby suffered their biggest loss since May 9, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Coventry, falling 13-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Crusaders were not able to get on the board.

Stafford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for East Granby, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Stafford came out on top in a nail-biter against East Granby in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
