Basketball Recap: Murray County Central Takes a Loss

Murray County Central lost against Adrian/Ellsworth back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Murray County Central Rebels came up short against the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons, falling 61-35. The Rebels' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Murray County Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Murray County Central will welcome Southwest Minnesota Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m.
