Baseball Recap: Bridges Prep Comes Up Short

Bridges Prep fell victim to Barnwell and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Warhorses by a score of 2-0. That makes it the first time this season the Buccaneers have let down their home crowd.

Dawson Cook spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits.

Bridges Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Barnwell, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Bridges Prep will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Edisto at 6:00 p.m. As for Barnwell, they will head out on the road to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
