Rocky Grove took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Reynolds.

Meanwhile, Maplewood fell victim to Northwestern and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Wildcats. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Rocky Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Maplewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
