Basketball Recap: Long Island Lutheran Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Long Island Lutheran is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Long Island Lutheran Crusaders breezed by the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans to the tune of 99-57. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Long Island Lutheran pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.5 points over those games. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4.
