The Oak Ridge Wildcats had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Knoxville Catholic on Tuesday. Oak Ridge was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Knoxville Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.
Oak Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Baylor at 7:00 p.m. on March 8th. As for Knoxville Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
