Basketball Recap: Ransom Everglades Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Quinn Pegg and Dimitri Tatulishvili

Ransom Everglades lost against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders fell 66-62 to the Stallions. While the Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Stallions 14-6 in the first quarter.

Dimitri Tatulishvili and Quinn Pegg certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Tatulishvili dropped a double-double with 24 points and 17 rebounds, while Pegg dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards. Pegg continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Ransom Everglades and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ransom Everglades will square off against Hebrew Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they will challenge Carol City at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd.
