Kingsley had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-30 victory over the St. Francis Gladiators. Given the Stags' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Gladiators are ranked 471st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kingsley's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. As for St. Francis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Kingsley is taking a road trip to challenge Harbor Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Francis, they will challenge Benzie Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
