Recap: Maxwell Panthers vs. Los Molinos Bulldogs
The Maxwell Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to Los Molinos. Maxwell lost against Los Molinos in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 56-49 score last time.
Los Molinos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Cantonwine, who scored 22 points. Ty Walker was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 12 rebounds and 6 steals.
Maxwell's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Los Molinos, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maxwell will take on Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Princeton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Los Molinos, they will be playing at home against Upper Lake at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
