Hamilton has gone 6-1 against Waterville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Emerald Knights will challenge the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Waterville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamilton, who comes in off a win.

Hamilton is headed out to face Waterville after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Emerald Knights put the hurt on Oriskany with a sharp 13-3 victory on Monday.

Ellie Freeth was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Freeth was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Hamilton got a massive performance out of Katelyn Simpson, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Rhiannon Murray, who scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Waterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Oriskany, falling 28-8.

Everything went Hamilton's way against Waterville when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Hamilton made off with a 19-11 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Emerald Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
