Baseball Game Preview: Fairfield Tigers vs. Indian Springs Student

The Fairfield Tigers will head out to take on the Indian Springs Student at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Fairfield came up short against Oak Grove, falling 12-0. Fairfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Indian Springs lost 18-3 to Pleasant Grove on Thursday.

Samuel White and Dylan Heald stepped up to the plate in a big way. White went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Heald went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That home run was White's first of the season.

Indian Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season. As for Fairfield, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
