Soccer Game Preview: Clovis vs. Hobbs + How To Watch

Clovis is 1-9 against Hobbs since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Clovis didn't have quite enough to beat Carlsbad and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Clovis have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Hobbs faced Roswell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Coyotes a 3-0 shutout. Hobbs haven't had any issues with Roswell recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-2. As for Hobbs, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Clovis couldn't quite get it done against Hobbs in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
