Baseball Recap: Fort Hamilton Takes a Loss

Fort Hamilton fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against New Dorp on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Central Cougars by a score of 7-6. The loss leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.

Dylan Jenkinson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Ryan Maida was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fort Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Dorp, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

As of now, neither Fort Hamilton nor the Central Cougars have any future games scheduled.
