The Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Trinity Christian a 4-0 shutout. Isaiah Stephens had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Coastal HomeSchool.
Coastal HomeSchool will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Bulloch Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Trinity Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Patrick Henry Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 22nd.
