Recap: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Port Clinton Redskins
The Sandusky Blue Streaks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Port Clinton by a score of 49-47. Sandusky lost against Port Clinton in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 64-37 score last time.
Sandusky's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ra'kiya Collier, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mae Rameau, who scored 12 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Port Clinton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Sandusky will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Clinton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Margaretta at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
