Softball Recap: Chapin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Irmo on Tuesday, Chapin came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 9-1 to the Saluda Tigers on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Saluda, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Chapin has already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against White Knoll on the 24th. As for Saluda, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Batesburg-Leesville on the 24th.
