Loveland lost to Rocky Mountain back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Red Wolves walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lobos. The win was nothing new for the Red Wolves as they're now sitting on five straight.
Loveland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-20.
Loveland's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Rocky Mountain, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Looking ahead, Loveland will challenge Prairie View at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rocky Mountain, after both having extra time off, they and Fossil Ridge will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
