Basketball Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it four. They took a blow against the First Flight Nighthawks, falling 62-30. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-6.

As for First Flight, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

It was another big night for Brody Woods, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cruz Jaztremski, who scored 11 points.

Camden County and Cape Hatteras Secondary will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Flight, they are taking a road trip to take on Manteo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Nighthawks will need to watch out since the Redskins have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
