Basketball Recap: Beaver Island Comes Up Short

Beaver Island lost against Burt Township last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Beaver Island Islanders were dealt a 60-29 loss at the hands of the Burt Township Polar Bears. The Islanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beaver Island's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Burt Township, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-11.

Beaver Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burt Township, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-48 loss against Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter on the 14th.
