Basketball Recap: Tamarac Piles Up the Points Against Greenwich

Tamarac lost to Greenwich back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Tamarac Bengals claimed a resounding 68-36 victory over the Greenwich Witches. The Bengals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Tamarac's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Owen Glynn led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Glynn a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dylan Ryan, who went 6 for 8 en route to 16 points.

Tamarac has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Greenwich, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Tamarac will be playing at home against Catskill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tamarac is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season. As for Greenwich, they are taking a road trip to challenge Schuylerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
