Football Game Preview: Grant Cougars vs. Peabody Warhorses + How To Watch

Grant is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will square off against the Peabody Warhorses at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Grant's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three games.

Grant's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Bolton Academy to the tune of 56-0. Considering the Cougars have won three matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Peabody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 44-26 to Washington-Marion.

Peabody's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grant, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Grant skirted past Peabody 13-10 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
