Make it 15 blowout wins for the Salpointe Catholic Lancers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Pueblo 86-41 at home. The win was familiar territory for Salpointe Catholic who now have nine in a row.

Salpointe Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taliyah Henderson led the charge by scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Henderson hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Even, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Despite the loss, Pueblo saw an underclassman step up: America Cazares scored 25 points along with four steals and two blocks. Pueblo struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Salpointe Catholic racked up 26 assists.

Salpointe Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Pueblo, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Salpointe Catholic will head out on the road to take on Sahuaro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sahuaro is on a three-game streak of home wins, Salpointe Catholic a ten-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Pueblo will take on Flowing Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Flowing Wells focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Thursday.
