Griffin won the last time they faced Jonesboro and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Griffin Bears secured a 43-39 W over the Jonesboro Cardinals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Jonesboro's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was K'Miyah Foulk, who posted 15 points and three steals. That was a full 38.5% of Jonesboro's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Carmyn Bowden was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Griffin's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Jonesboro, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Griffin will challenge Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Griffin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Jonesboro, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jonesboro Cardinals duke it out with the Harris County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
