Viridiana Lopez Game Report: vs Woodrow Wilson

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Viridiana Lopez: she recorded her first sack on Wednesday and we're guessing she's looking for more. She also picked up 36 receiving yards, but sadly the performance wasn't enough to secure a win for Norwalk (they played to a 6-6 draw against Woodrow Wilson). We hope Wednesday's matchup is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Lopez and Norwalk will venture away from home to take on Western at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Pioneers thanks in part to Lopez: she picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
