Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays vs. North Harrison Shamrocks

The Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays will venture away from home to square off against the North Harrison Shamrocks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast Nodaway is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Northeast Nodaway might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 76-36 to East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 575th, while East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] are ranked 270th).

Meanwhile, North Harrison suffered their biggest defeat since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against North Andrew, falling 58-38. The Shamrocks haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Northeast Nodaway, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-22.

Northeast Nodaway came up short against North Harrison when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 47-35. Can Northeast Nodaway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
