Softball Recap: Riverside Ram vs. Riverbend Bears
Riverside and Riverbend squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Riverside had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 7-5. The Ram were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 4-3.
Jaiden McCallum made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrie Merced, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Riverbend, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.
