South Delta came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Simmons Blue Devils by a score of 38-26. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season so far.

It was another big night for Amarion Sanders, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Justin Stamps, who had six points.

South Delta's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Simmons, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Delta will square off against Leland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Simmons, they will face off against West Bolivar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
