It was a good run, but Reseda unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Kennedy Cougars by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

Reseda took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Reseda's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

Looking ahead, Reseda will square off against St. Genevieve at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennedy, they will head out to take on Van Nuys at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
