Volleyball Recap: St. John Paul II Takes a Loss

St. John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Saints from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Rhyan Holloway paced St. John Paul II's offense, picking up 11 kills. Holloway got some help from Elizabeth Rohling and her 24 assists. Rohling was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

St. John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

St. John Paul II has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bob Jones on the 23rd. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Chelsea on the 23rd.
