Baseball Recap: Fuqua Comes Up Short

Fuqua lost against Kenston Forest back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 11-1 to the Kavaliers. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fuqua saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Simon, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Fuqua has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Kenston Forest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fuqua will challenge rival Brunswick Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kenston Forest is set to take on their familiar foe Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
