Basketball Game Preview: Butternut Midgets vs. Hurley Northstars

Butternut is 1-9 against Hurley since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Butternut Midgets will host the Hurley Northstars at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Butternut lost 57-37 to Drummond on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to Washburn at home by a 51-36 margin.

Hurley's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Butternut, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Butternut barely slipped by Hurley when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 28-27. Does Butternut have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hurley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
