Basketball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Liberty on Saturday, Lee came back down to earth. The Ganders were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 50-49 to the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves.

Lee has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Pineywoods Community Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Lee will venture away from home to square off against Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ganders will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pineywoods Community Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Woden at 6:00 p.m.
