Basketball Recap: Monday's Win Is UR Academy's Fourth in Last Five Outings

UR Academy hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Jordan Miller that streak is no more. The UR Academy Lions walked away with a 69-58 win over The Fletcher School Falcons on Monday thanks in part to Miller, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 16 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Malcolm Rivers, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high.

UR Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for The Fletcher School, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

UR Academy has already played their next match, a 69-53 victory against Judah Christian Academy on the 28th. The Fletcher School has also already played their next game (against Victory Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
