It was a proper cat-fight when Mt. Spokane faced off against Lewis & Clark on Friday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 21-18 win over the Tigers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Mt. Spokane's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lewis & Clark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Spokane will host Ferris at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewis & Clark, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Shadle Park at 8:00 p.m. The Tigers will be up against the Highlanders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
