Basketball Recap: North Hagerstown Gets the Win

North Hagerstown won against Walkersville last Sunday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The North Hagerstown Hubs pulled ahead with a 51-50 photo finish over the Walkersville Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-50 last Sunday.

North Hagerstown found their leader in sophomore Brayden Cespedes, who went 9 of 12 en route to 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cespedes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Landon Somerville, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for North Hagerstown and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Walkersville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

North Hagerstown has already played their next game (against Williamsport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Walkersville has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Catoctin.
