Baseball Recap: Windsor Locks Raiders vs. Bolton Bulldogs
Windsor Locks had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-10 to make it nine. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bolton Bulldogs. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.
As for Bolton, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Bolton's part, Josh Wagner made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over two innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Wagner also tossed no walks, which is notable because Bolton is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 3-8 otherwise. Wagner was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
