Softball Recap: West Texas Takes a Loss

West Texas and Haskell squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West Texas had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 15-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Comanches have suffered since March 11th.

West Texas' loss dropped their record down to 17-7-1. As for Haskell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

While West Texas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
