Basketball Recap: Berean Christian vs. Apostolic Christian
Berean Christian won the last time they faced Apostolic Christian, and things went their way on Thursday too. Berean Christian strolled past the with points to spare, taking the game 63-48.
It was another big night for Nate Ballinger, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Copeland, who scored 19 points along with three steals.
Berean Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Apostolic Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
