SouthWest Edgecombe entered their tilt with Eastern Wayne on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 22-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Logan Bell and Connor Wolfe made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Bell struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Wolfe tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Bell got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, while Wolfe earned two runs and two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave Wolfe a new career-high.
