Basketball Recap: Palatka Finds Playoff Glory Versus Keystone Heights

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Palatka had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Keystone Heights Indians by a score of 69-60. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-54 back in January.

Keystone Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Michael Petty, who went 7 of 10 en route to 19 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Petty a new career-high in points. Dereon Tochterman was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Palatka moved to 7-19 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Keystone Heights, their record is now 3-18.

Palatka has already played their next matchup (against Bradford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Keystone Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
