Softball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Ozark Hillbillies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillbillies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in March.

Waldron saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Richmond, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ozark, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Waldron will square off against Mount Ida at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ozark, they will venture away from home to square off against Clarksville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
