Recap: Victory Christian Center Kings vs. Lake Norman Christian Storm
The Victory Christian Center Kings can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Lake Norman Christian on the road to the tune of 79-35. Given Victory Christian Center's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Lake Norman Christian is ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Abubakar Cham had a dynamite game for Victory Christian Center, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds. Cham continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Xavier Perry, who scored 13 points along with five assists and three steals.
Victory Christian Center is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Lake Norman Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
Victory Christian Center will head out on the road to take on Legacy Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive. Lake Norman Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
