Recap: Bear Grass Charter Bears vs. North Duplin Rebels
The Bear Grass Charter Bears were the 59-54 winner over the North Duplin Rebels when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Bear Grass Charter was beaten by North Duplin 63-35 on Friday.
North Duplin found their leader in underclassman Treshawn Ruffin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. Micah Lesesane was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
Bear Grass Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for North Duplin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bear Grass Charter will face off against North East Carolina Prep at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for North Duplin, they will head out on the road to face off against James Kenan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
